Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cong Le ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our apps and related services.

This is a general policy for apps published under the Cong Le developer account. Specific apps may have app-specific disclosures in addition to this policy.

Our websites use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page performance and referral sources. It is a privacy-first service: the beacon does not use cookies or collect visitors' personal data.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account/profile information (if applicable), such as an email address and authentication identifier.
• App content you create (for example: reminders, notes, entries, settings).
• Support messages you send to us.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device type, operating system, app version, language, and region.
• Usage events, crash diagnostics, and performance metrics.
• Approximate technical metadata (IP-derived country/region).

On this website, activating a tracked App Store or Google Play link increments a daily aggregate counter containing the page path, campaign label, button position, store platform, and a fixed source category such as Google, Reddit, GitHub, or unattributed. The category is derived in the browser from a recognised utm_source value or referring hostname. Only this category is kept in tab-scoped session storage across internal navigation; new external or direct entries reset it, and explicit utm_source values take precedence, with unrecognised values counted as unattributed. No cookies or visitor identifiers are used for this attribution. The acquisition table does not retain the raw referrer, URL query, email address, cookie, IP address, user agent, or a per-visitor identifier.

1.3 Information from third parties

Some apps may use third-party SDKs (for analytics, crash reporting, ads, or subscription management) that process limited technical data under their own policies.

When an app shares user data with a third party listed below, that provider is used only for the stated purpose and is required by its terms and applicable law to protect user data with safeguards consistent with this policy.

2. Anniversary Tracker Together

Anniversary Tracker offers an optional feature called Together that lets two people synchronize a selected relationship record. The app works without an account, and Together is off unless you choose to sign in and pair.

• We process your email address, a provider authentication identifier, session and installation identifiers, and the relationship fields you choose to share: relationship date and counting choice, two names, optional birthdays and profile positions, milestone choices, custom or edited anniversaries, and deleted generated milestones.
• Profile photos, appearance, widgets, reminder settings, purchases, passcode, onboarding state, and other device settings are not uploaded by Together.
• Google and Apple sign-in are used only to authenticate your Congle account. We do not store Google or Apple access or refresh tokens and do not use them to access your contacts, calendar, photos, or other provider data.
• Push notifications used for Together contain no relationship content; they only tell the app to check securely for changes.

The synchronized copy is stored by Congle Accounts for as long as the pair remains connected or the account remains active. Disconnecting deletes the shared relationship copy. Deleting your account deletes the account and shared server copy. Relationship data already stored locally on either phone remains until that person removes it in the app or deletes the app.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve app functionality.
• Authenticate accounts and synchronize content only when you enable an account-based feature.
• Diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Data Retention and Security

• We retain data only as long as needed for legitimate app operations, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
• We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.
• No method of storage/transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

7. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) unless explicitly stated in the app listing.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
